FURIDA's journey began way back in October 1995. Established as a grassroots-level trust, the Forestation and Urban-Rural Integrated Development Association (FURIDA) started its mission in Shakarpur, Delhi, and later expanded its main branch to Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, to better serve the rural and urban-rural communities.
Over the decades, we have made a definite impact by running a dedicated old age home, providing shelter for the homeless, and ensuring daily nutrition for those in need. Our work has expanded to include education for students from deprived sections, support for disabled individuals, and comprehensive health services, all while fostering community through art and culture programs.
By innovating and implementing a multitude of initiatives, we strive to supplement the formal opportunities available to the needy. We believe that empowering the lower sections of society must start with education and care, ensuring a future where every individual can thrive with dignity.
